China in the World
Carnegie China’s China in the World podcast is a series of conversations between Chinese and international experts on China’s foreign policy, China’s international role, and China’s relations with the world.
The music though

Is it just me or the music in the beginning weirdly orientalist....
Biased interview
03/21/2023
The episode where the host interviews Sharon Seah regarding ASEAN I thought was one of the most biased and useless interviews I’ve come across. If you are going to bring in a biased person, have two people with opposing views and let’s hear a useful discussion. The host only very gently pushed back on Seah. And frankly the interview does not give me any indication of how reliable the survey this person Seah conducted really is.
Excellent guests and content

Paul Haenle does a phenomenal job curating interesting, knowledgeable guests and showcasing their areas of expertise. This is an important show for people wanting to understand China’s growing global influence.
