“Never yawns or says a commonplace thing.”

I love Christopher Lochhead, and his podcast(s)! While listening to him, there are a few things I truly appreciate:

* The shows don’t sound “scripted” and overly produced...because they’re not. These are real conversations between two very interesting human beings. And they’re GREAT conversations.

* Chris is just INTERESTING. He’s got such a wealth of knowledge and life experience and that comes through in spades during the free flow conversation. Chickens? Surfing? Punk rock? Drinking in the studio? Yes, please.

* He asks the questions we all want to know. It’s not the standard formula. Of course, it couldn’t be with a name like “follow your different.”

I’m just reminded when I hear these podcasts of the famous Kerouac quote,

“The only ones for me are the mad ones. The ones who are mad to live, mad to talk, mad to be saved, the ones who are desirous of everything at the same time. The ones who never yawn or say a commonplace thing, but burn, burn, burn like fabulous yellow Roman candles exploding like spiders across the stars and in the middle you see the blue center light pop and everyone goes ‘Awwww.’”

Great job with these, Lochhead. Please continue!
