Coaching Call
We’ll cover various types of coaching by trainers in sports, martial arts, fitness, and business. We’ll discuss each coach’s methods of getting the most out of their respective athletes or clients and how they attempt to change the platform in which they coach. Join us on a fun adventure as we discuss unique coaching styles. We’ve all been coached before… in school, at work, or on a team. Your first coaches were your mom or dad who taught you how to communicate, tie your shoes, or play a simple game of catch. Coaching is a part of how we get others to get something done.

Nutrition with a passion for knowledge and a motivation - Evan Mestman
My guest today is Evan Mestman this will be the second time I chat with him on the Coaching Call podcast. Even was known as Heavy Evy and that's what started him on the journey to change his life. Evan started his career in nutrition with a passion for knowledge and motivation to help those who struggle with being their best mentally, physically, and spiritually. As an adolescent, Evan was challenged with his own need to lose weight, become healthy and stay fit. When he took his first nutrition class in college, it resonated to the point of becoming his pivotal moment and his career path was set. After receiving his master’s and becoming a Registered Dietician, he worked in hospital ICU’s with the most critical of patients. He saw their fears and vulnerabilities and realized that having the right attitude was half the battle. He started studying the psychology of behavior and change which led to the development of his first nutrition program Appetite and Attitudes. He became a diabetes educator, and an adjunct professor teaching Nutrition and Disease as well as Nutrition and Performance for over 10 years.

Jeremy Doran The world is our classroom!
Welcome back to the coaching Call podcast. Join me as I discuss business concepts with Jeremy Doran, Jeremy had experience working at a Fortune 500 company where he was coaching country managers throughout Europe on how to grow their business in the Service Provider market. This is where he developed his love of coaching. After that, he started a franchise business, where he quickly began coaching the entire franchise system on goal setting, business plans and marketing. It was evident that coaching and training were Jeremy’s calling.
Pinnacle Performance was founded in 1998 in alliance with John Ledworth of Action Associates who had over 30 years of experience in the coaching and training industry. In 1999 Pinnacle Performance began working with such clients as the US Post office and General Dynamics and grew rapidly.
Jeremy recently published a book about growing up as the youngest of 10 siblings, and the lessons learned. He is a business, leadership, and retirement coach. His continuous learning comes from school, work, family, improv and challenging himself to expand his limits. Figuring out how those lessons can be applied to business life is something he prides himself on.
