Consciously Connecting aims to create a space for curiosity, for questioning, for noticing what happens when we connect.  Hosted by Garfield King, it’s a podcast about communication and connection. About what it means to be truly present with ourselves or with another person. How we connect to art and to the world.  With almost 50 years of meditation practice, including over a decade in semi-cloistered contemplative life, he believes connection is at the heart of what makes us human.  From this position, we explore how communication and connection show up in our lives and being fully present, we reach toward one another and toward ourselves.  Music - Mike Alleyne

    The Illusion of Connection

    Just because someone replies to your text or your post doesn’t mean they are truly engaged with you.  When we communicate digitally, we often wear “masks” to protect ourselves from judgment or shame. We present a curated version of our lives.
