Looking at what these laundries were, who was sent there, and the hidden truths that later came to light, this entry explores another difficult and painful chapter of Irish history. This is not an attempt to cover every detail, but to lift the rug and witness what was there ,holding space for the women and girls whose voices were silenced for so long.
