Intriguing

I had no idea just how deep this story could go. I found this podcast very recently and only learned of this tragedy after the movie release. I was giddy with excitement when I saw this on my recommended list. The detailed research is admirable. At times, I would get confused as to who was whom. Especially toward the end, but that was likely due to my own focus issues. I just wish it felt like closure. I know it can’t, but I wish…

Instead of bedtime stories

My mom would tuck me into bed with stories like Chappaquidick. As a Catholic mom in the 60s, she was mortified by 2 things: the Kennedy Family and Vatican 2. She’s at peace now, so I can say this: Mom, you were right . Those Kennedy’s were a bunch of evil squirrels. And this podcast is heartbreaking. He left her in that car. Just walked away.
Lion of the Senate, my ass.

Very well done

Excellent podcast. This subject matter was a little more dry than I usually listen to but they did a very nice job with this. Well researched, not sensationalized. Narrator (and journalist) has a very pleasant voice. I learned a lot and would recommend.
