A Meditation for When You’re Not Getting What You Want, No Matter How Hard You Try

A Meditation for When You’re Not Getting What You Want, No Matter How Hard You Try

This is a great meditation to do when you’re feeling like you will never be able to reach your goals or do the Thing you’re dreaming of doing. You might feel overwhelmed at the idea of all the work that lies ahead, you might be feeling frantic or a little manic, or you might be exhausted from taking all this action that seems like it’s just going nowhere…
You could use a break. For a few moments, ease into slow & steady, where your brain can disconnect from the overthinking and store up some creative energy instead.

Guided Self-Reflection: You Get to Choose to Bring Your Idea to Life (or to let it die)

Guided Self-Reflection: You Get to Choose to Bring Your Idea to Life (or to let it die)

In this guided self-reflection, you'll find yourself faced with the gift of choice: you get to choose if you bring your ideas to life, or if you let them die. You get to choose to believe your fear, worry, and self-doubt...or to have faith in self-trust and believe if there's a will, there's a way.

You can sit, lie down, or take a walk during this short session. Having a journal nearby may come in handy, as you may be prompted to write down your ideas & indulge in what life could look like if you brought them to life.

Getting out of a slump

I’ve gotten stuck in a slump and have had a really hard time staying motivated. I’ve got to clean my apartment. It was suggested to me to take some time to sit quietly and meditate to get your brain in the right mindset. I instantly thought of episode 23, making room for yourself. Honestly cried through the whole thing- It was just what I needed to make my space my own again. Thank you so much for your inspiration!

Inspiring

I grew up doing guided mediations with my grandma, and I’ve craved the power that doing guided meditations regularly have. I love the brain training ones the very most, but truly every one of these are short, powerful, and inspiring.

A guided meditation I could actually see

I have done several guided meditations and have often felt that I had a limited imagination! The instructors I have been guided by have taken me through intricate scenarios that have left me feeling like I was missing something.

Jayme’s meditations have changed that for me. I’m able to easily follow along and visualize the scene. I like the length of time, the sound of Jayme’s voice and the music also. It all helps me relax and notice.
