Update: Not the same

I’d give 4.5 stars if it was an option. These 2 explore some cases you haven’t heard elsewhere. They bring legal experience and actual case document info into research lending much more credibility. Sometimes I’m a little thrown off by the conversation style but the content quality mostly makes up for that. (Above is my original review which I titled Almost Perfect) After years of listening, this is one I have to let go. The abrupt departure of Talia was super disappointing but I kept listening. TBH this had been happening for a while, but now it’s more obvious- it’s not the same as in the beginning. It was interesting to have a lawyer’s perspective and it helped set them apart. Now it’s just become descriptions of the case- nothing I can’t get elsewhere, and I feel ridiculous saying this bc I don’t mind profanity at all but… SHANNON the language. The f-Bombs are distracting. I’m sorry to have to unsubscribe, but please bring back the old format instead of just storytelling.
Gone down hill

I used to be a die hard TNT C&C fan but since Taleah left and this new woman, Shannon has joined, the pod feels way less professional and the cases that are covered are covered by every other podcast out there. I don’t mind the banter beforehand but this rebrand with Shannon sad…
Missing Talia, but liking Shannon!

Shannon sounds like Jennifer Coolidge telling us a scary story and I love that! However, I wish Shannon would lead up to telling us the crime and then tell us the consequences (as the title infers). It’s not fun knowing whodunnit first without knowing any of the players. The whole point of listening to true crime is listening to it like a mystery story. Please Shannon, introduce all of the players, their background etc and then walk us through the story leading up to the crime and then tell us the consequences. I don’t want to skip over your episodes or unsubscribe because you aren’t following the format we all have grown use to. Thanks for sticking around Tania!
