Then, in the spring of 1993, he tortured and killed five gay men: Peter Walker, Christopher Dunn, Perry Bradley III, Andrew Collier, and Emanuel Spiteri. Posing as a BDSM practitioner at the Coleherne Arms pub in West London, Colin preyed on a vulnerable community who was often targeted rather than protected by the police.     Because it’s that time of year again, in this episode, we’re covering two cases that happened on Christmas Eve: On December 24, 2014, Dustin Lee Klopp and Stephanie Kilhefner Klopp’s two children would be made orphans, just not all at once. Having driven them to his parents’ house for the usual festivities the following day, Dustin called the police to confess to his wife’s murder and turned himself in.     21-year-old Joel Larson was walking through a popular gay cruising spot in Minneapolis, Minnesota around 11:30 in the evening on July 31, 1991, when he was killed by a bullet to the back. Only ten days later, 19-year-old Cord Draszt and 48-year-old former Minnesota State Senator John Chenoweth were shot at another gay hangout spot. After a six-page letter from the fictitious AIDS Commission claimed responsibility for the hate crimes, authorities realized they had the wrong suspect and raced to track down the real killer before he made good on his threats of more murders to come.
