Excellence
Loving this vibes of this podcast! The content engages the listener and is relevant to the day and age we’re currently in. Keep the episodes coming!! Excellent work
This is it.
No seriously, this is it. No ‘life hacks.’ No “5 Simple Ways To _____.” No annoyingly obvious sponsor plugs. Have you ever had your interest piqued by a potential podcast, only to feel like you’re being chatted at by a used car salesperson? If you’ve struggled to find a podcast with meaningful and relevant industry content, hang up that fight. You’re here.
You may not know this when you first listen to Currency$hift, but aside from the guest bio and the Speed Round, this show is completely unscripted. Many shows that attempt this usually become derailed hot messes, but Currency$hift’s host, ShaDé Simone, keeps the conversation on point. Guests aren’t sent prep questions, simply told to come in for a conversation. The result is a relaxed and meaningful dialogue that touches on everything from their history and how they grew up, to their challenges in life and their motivations and how they’ve changed to become the industry leaders they are today. ShaDé Simone is the ultimate host, guiding the conversation to create a comprehensive walkthrough of their success, while highlighting important points for her listeners. Literally, you’ll hear her say, “Wait, that is so on point. Repeat that last sentence for our listeners.” But don’t worry, there’s no need to take notes; whenever you re-listen to an episode, you always find a new take-away you didn’t notice before.
My only criticism? We need more. Not being able to binge on these episodes that I know Currency$hift is squirreling away for a slow release is killing me. I know that’s the point, but it doesn’t mean I have to like it.
Other than that, jump start your day and your projects with this podcast. It’s a shot of motivation in your coffee.
