Dr. Doni specializes in the field of stress and building our bodies to properly manage and optimize stress levels. From observing women in labor and giving birth, she realized that a certain amount of cortisol and adrenaline (stress) is needed to successfully give birth. This caused Dr. Doni to understand that all stress isn’t bad, and what we need to do is learn how to give the necessary support to individuals in high-stress situations to achieve the optimum cortisol and adrenaline levels. Is it good to have cortisol? What are the symptoms of high cortisol levels? What are the symptoms of low cortisol levels? Is cortisol the same as adrenaline? What should my cortisol level be?What do cortisol levels indicate? We also discuss adrenaline, its impact, and healthy levels

Every once in a while you find something that truly impacts your daily living. This podcast changed everything for me. I started with Centr and following Dan’s recipes. Then I followed his social media and started to get exposed to this massive array of information I never knew I needed. As a lifetime learner, ex-Olympic weightlifter, athlete, eating disorder survivor and human person I cherish each episode and the information I retain. I am able to use all the resources he brings to the table (pun intended) to help keep myself and my loved ones healthy. Can’t even put into words how important this podcast has become in my life. I’m already finding myself sharing my new knowledge to those around me!
How to detox with a Whole Foods Plant-based diet.
Yes. This podcast was incredibly informative and kind of mind altering. I’ve been a big fan of Dan, but this was one of those episodes that made me stop and really analyze my own health. I recently subscribed to Athletic Greens (waiting for my first order to arrive) but am seriously considering changing up my diet even more. I’ve always been healthy, or what I consider healthy. But maybe it’s time to go all in and change to a WFPB diet.
How to detox with a whole food plant based diet! With Dr. Vivan Chen

Dr. Vivan’s perspective was not only motivational but the way she addressed everything was thoughtful and loving. I am literally going to share this with everyone I know. Thank you both!!
