Coming Home to Yourself — Celinne Da Costa on the Burning Ground

At 25, Celinne Da Costa left her corporate career, her apartment, and her relationship — and spent nine months couch-surfing with 70 strangers across 18 countries, running toward something she couldn't yet name.  What she found became her book, The Burning Ground. In this conversation, Celinne and I go beneath the movie-like story to what's actually underneath it. We explore:  - Why wherever you go, there you are — and what it takes to actually face the patterns you keep recreating  - How strangers became mirrors that reflected back the gifts Celinne didn't know she had  - Why your story is a map, not the truth — and what changes when you stop letting it speak for you  - What the burning ground actually is, and why it might be exactly where you're standing right now  - Why purpose isn't found — it's walked into, one aligned step at a time This one is for anyone who has been waiting to feel ready before they dare to move. The Audacity of Starting: Risk, Marriage & Building a Business at 24

What if the riskiest thing you can do isn't starting something new but standing still? At 24, my husband Avi and I launched a publishing company from a 600-square-foot illegal sublet in New York City.  We both had full-time jobs, zero publishing experience, and one idea I came home with after jury duty. We called it NataviGuides, competed with the biggest publishing houses in the world, and figured out everything — printing, distribution, sales — as we went. In this conversation, Avi and I look back 25 years later at what that audacious, messy, wonderful adventure actually taught us. About starting before you feel ready, building something hard inside a marriage, knowing when it's time to let go, and why the person you become by doing the hard thing matters more than any outcome. If you've been sitting on an idea waiting for the right moment, the right plan, or enough experience, this episode is your reminder  to stop waiting and start moving. Your dare this week: What's one "unreasonable" idea you've been dismissing? Identify one step toward it and take it today. 🎥 Watch on YouTube: https://youtu.be/pb3jtLHFzt0 💥 Free From Stuck to Sparked guide: https://www.natalykogan.com/from-stuck-to-sparked-guide-download  🚀 Ready to build your next chapter: https://www.natalykogan.com/unleash-your-next  ✨ Work with Nataly: natalykogan.com  📚 Books & Journals: natalykogan.com/books  💛 Loving the show?
