Episode 101: Dog Mischief 2 - Doggie Business

After an unfortunate business trip-related delay, the DCOMedy crew is here and super ready to bark at ya about the lesser-known DCOM Hounded. A lot of this movie really doesn’t work on paper, but somehow it manages to come together and actually be somewhat enjoyable? Though, to be fair, a lot of that is thanks to some stellar performances and pretty decent gags. Plus a true doggie star being born right before our eyes. Even if she is technically a puppet for like half of the movie… Emma picked up some UK slang and shares her self-care routine (unfortunately). Luke is not built for military school and demands to know if two characters are dating. Talking Points: The Lost Art of Dog Puppetry, The Short Film Within This DCOM, Dead Dad Memorabilia, Shia LaBeouf Is Unfortunately Very Good, Two Non-Disabled People Talk About What Makes Good Wheelchair Representation, Freezing Cold Announcements, The Height of Luxury in 2001: Your Own Phoneline, 1. Episode 100: The Great Bikini Investigation

Wow can you believe we actually made it to 100 regular episodes (and that we still managed to put it out late)?! Well if Cloud 9 has taught us anything, it’s that nothing’s impossible…and also to not believe all the men in your life who don’t believe in you. I know that sounds like I’m extrapolating excess meaning from a children’s movie but no, that’s literally a big part of this story. It also contains possibly the most sexually charged scene ever aired on Disney Channel which we will definitely be acting normal about. Emma is fascinated by fascinators and continues to be in love with Dove. Luke refuses to learn the names of side characters and is strict about cheating. Talking Points: This Movie Should Be Better, Spiritually Too Long, Too Many Characters, Terrible GoPro Footage, The Curious Case Of The Mute Friend, THE CRAZY CHARACTER NAMES, The Ski Resort Has A Dog Kennel?, This Is Lowkey A Hallmark Movie, Will St. Cloud, Nick Swift’s Villainy, The Crazy Teen Party, When Is Fire And Ice?!, The Surprisingly Not Dead Mom, Sign Humor, A Totally Avoidable Tangent About PBS Programming, Dog Mischief/Messes, How Could The Competitions Have Been Rigged?, A Disney Channel Appropriate Sports Injury, The Unnecessary Bargain Hunting Plotline, Sigh…Skye Sailor, The Bitch-off, Weirdly Bad Montages, A Lack of Flirty Coaching, A Delayed Chekov’s Mountain, Nothing Is Impossible…I Guess?, Shouldn’t This Be Will’s Redemption?, Avalanche!, A Completely Uncalled For Dissection Of St. Bernard’s In Media, Strange Hand Flirting, The Most Immobile Kiss Ever Filmed, The Weird Twist/Fake-Out, Ripping Off Brink, This Podcast Is Only For Maniacs And Shredders, An Elaborate Sled Ruse, The Most Infamous DCOM Cliché

Episode 99: Listen To The Rastafarian Peanut Man

Alright, who’s finally ready to get a little nuts?!?! Actually, wait, that doesn’t make any sense if you haven’t watched this month’s movie. To be fair though, most of the stuff in this DCOM will come as a surprise based on what one would expect from The Proud Family Movie. For some reason, this movie just couldn’t resist the temptation to take the show’s cast on a vacation…and the decisions only get weirder from there. So take a journey with us and the entire Proud Family to the somewhat uncomfortable in 2025 Legume Island as we unpack our final DCOM based on a show! Luke shares some animation intuition and still doesn’t know popular music Emma demands the formu-oli and continues to hate the show-based movies. Talking Points: Proud Family Memories, Jokes Not For Children, Weird/Unnecessary CGI, The Basketball Superstar Based Economy, What Is Going On With Zoey, Fifteen Cent and the Spare Change Dancers, Oscar Proud’s Weird Business Acumen, A Hostile Mother-Son Relationship, Sneaking Stuff Past Disney Channel, Shoutout To Debbie Allen, We Stan Rappers Who Respect Women, Unnecessary Disguises, Trying To Understand Bebe and Cece Conceptually, Is This Island Racist?, A Brief Tangent About Breakin’ 2: Electric Boogaloo, An Additional Tangent About Fantasy Island, Papi Boulevardez Is Da Joker Baby, A Jacuzzi Sex Joke In A DCOM, Disney Channel Level Torture, A Very Convoluted Villain Plan, DCOM Cinematic Inspiration, Clone Quirks, Be Careful What You Wish For!, This Sport Looks Sick, Nobody Asks Any Questions, George Washington Carver Did Not Invent Peanut Butter, The Dumbest Villain Origin Ever, KEITH DAVID IS HERE NOW?!, The Yach-t, Give Us More Gross Sisters, The Terrible Villain Song, Peanut People Dance Battle, How Many Clones Are There?, Penny Does Music I Guess?, The Absolutely Unhinged Epilogue

Episode 98: The Real Boogeyman Is Leukemia

Sorry this is a little late, your intrepid hosts have been super out of it lately. Our sleep patterns keep getting seriously messed up because somebody keeps pranking us and setting our clocks forward! Don’t worry though, you know we wouldn’t let you go without a little spookiness even though our movie this month isn’t set on Halloween! That’s right, we are not technically looking at a Halloween movie…but it is still regarded as possibly Disney Channel’s scariest endeavor of all time. Not wanting to spoil anything, but we kind of agree. So be sure to listen to the title’s warning and Don’t Look Under The Bed! Emma won’t stop talking about NCIS and pitches some disgusting jokes. Luke doesn’t understand swimmers and hates kissing (for non-racial reasons). Talking Points: Impressively Scary, The Downfall of America, Boogeyman Election Interference, Stellar Score/Sound Design, Celebrating Our Heroes, A Brief Return of DCOM News, Family Naming Conventions, The Jaws of DCOMs, The Parents’ Interesting Vibes, A Pointless Argument About Tolkien, The Disappearing Jo, Why Does This Teacher Have A Dead Bird?, Larry Houdini: The GOAT, A Logical Explanation For Everything, So Many Eggs, DCOM Olympics Coverage, Say No To AI: Save Water For Doing Bits, The Boogeyman Went To Home Depot, Imaginary Prop Comedy, Our Main Character Genuinely Seems To Be Losing Their Mind, A Nightmare In Middleburg, Why Does Everyone Know About Mass Hypnosis?, Fairy Foreshadowing, The Boogey Book, Guidance Counselors Aren’t Trained For Much, The Impossible To Pronounce Temp-Tri-Fuge, A Second And More Pointless Argument, Imaginary Friend Sexism, BOOGEY GOO, The Mother’s Bust, Somehow We Touch On 9/11 Again, The Boogey World, The Return Of Everyone’s Favorite Segment, You’ve Gotta Be Real In The Boogey World, The World’s Strongest Sock, Stuff For Little Boys vs. For Little Girls, Gender Is A Boogey Construct, How Larry Says Goodbye

Episode 97: An After School Special With Slurs

Well, it’s that time once again everyone. That’s right, we’re gonna get little political on DCOMedy this month. Because we have got a spirited discussion all about The Color of Friendship, which dared to teach kids about why Apartheid was wrong. And we are definitely the perfect people to unpack that! In all seriousness, We’ve gotten used to the rare DCOM that really has something to say and doesn’t shy away from the harsh truths of its message. So we thought we knew what to expect! We did not expect all the slurs though. So…yeah. Oh, wait. Should I say content warning for racism? I mean that’s kind of the whole point so I think it kind of goes without saying. But just in case: FYI, there’s a lot of racism on display with this one. Emma has some pronunciation issues and went to Soulcycle. Luke is ignorant of accents and tries to whitesplain Roots. Talking Points: Yikes…But Not Yikes?, A DCOM Period Piece, Montage Failure, The Weird History/Mystery, One Little Saltine, Our Own Foreign Exchange Experience, The Jarring Dialogue, Clippy Did Apartheid, DCOMedy Says: Apartheid Was Bad, Perfectly Casting A Racist, Dying For Flora’s Inner Monologue, Stop Being Such A Know-It-All Mahree, WEAVER BIRDS/WEAVER SISTERS, Blurs or Slurds? Bonus Episode 9: It's Wango Tango, Baby!

Well, well, well, what do we have here? It’s been another year of DCOMedy, but definitely not a full year of episodes (thanks 2025 for being such a challenging year). So how should we celebrate our show being another year older? I mean Disney itself has seen fit to return to a certain gem of our childhoods, so why don’t we as well?! That’s right, to celebrate our anniversary in a new way, and to commemorate the release of Freakier Friday this year, we thought we’d take a look back on a film that in many ways is a perfect time capsule of the early 2000s. So strap in because it is Friday and it’s time for us to get freaky…non-sexually of course (except the movie is kind of weirdly sexy?). Emma has no notes and refuses to stop singing along. Luke questions his sister’s crushes and reflects on their childhood. Talking Points: Our Best Jesse Pinkman Impression, Sequel Speculation, A Certified Emma Episode, Soundtrack Slappage, Jamie Lee And LiLo Killing It, A Mother/Daughter Story, The Pierce Brosnan Connection, A Closed Luke, A Family Stone Debate, The Vibes Are Wonderful, Adult Vs. Episode 96: Every Possible Wrong Decision

Hello, everyone. I beg your pardon if the following lacks the usual frivolity and humor we try to inject into our episode descriptions. That is because we have neither at this time. You see, we are finally here to discuss the Kim Possible 2019 reboot/remake DCOM and it has sucked any positive emotions from us entirely. I will slightly spoil the end of this one for you, this is unanimously the worst film we have ever reviewed on the show. It fails not only as its own movie, but completely misses out on the things people enjoyed about the source material. If you are interested in listening to us be slowly worn down as we try and discuss it all before eventually crashing out, then by all means tune in! Luke does wrong by his favorite villain and finally gets to vent about this movie. Emma admits she is not a perfect feminist and discovers things about herself. Talking Points: Nothing But Love For Kim Possible, Super-spies Were Having A Moment, Who Is This For?, Kim Possible Sucks In This, Original Creator Intent, Fashion Disasters, Way Too Much Wade, The Parents Aren’t Important, Just Be A Basic Average Girl, You Can’t Do Drakken And Shego In Live Action, The Original Cast Is Incredible, Character Silhouettes, Bad Bonnie, Why Take Away Her Cheerleading?!, The Funny Signs Return, Ron Stoppable’s Massive Dong, No One Cares About Kim Doing Soccer, Drakken’s Really Stupid Plan, Kim Possible’s Mojo Baby, Kim & Ron Don’t Feel Like BFFs, ATHENA: GOD’S GREATEST MISTAKE, Analogy Skit Work, The Next Floor Below Rock Bottom, Things That Get Stuck In Our Craw, Shoutout To Claire Sawyer: Future Lawyer, A Galaxy Quest Tangent, A Way Too Long Discussion About Christy Carlson Romano’s Unfortunate Shooting Accident, That Mole Rat Ain’t Right!, Ron’s Not Allowed To Do Anything In This Movie, Locking Kim Possible In A Box To Scream And Cry While Someone Else Does All The Cool Stuff, The Plural Of Staff Is Staves, Nana…Possible?, Athena Day, So Obviously Evil The Whole Time, Everything’s The Drama, Kim Possible Is Not The Hero Of This Movie, Missed Merch Opportunities, A Supremely Unsatisfying Ending

Episode 95: We Simply Lose Our Minds

Well, you know what they say, there’s no Christmas like a late Christmas! What are you talking about, I’ve definitely heard people say that. Anyway, uh, we are finally celebrating the holidays with the way-too-big Duncan Family as we follow their misadventures in Good Luck Charlie, It’s Christmas! Your intrepid hosts knew very little about this show going in, other than it stars one of the best people to ever grace Disney Channel…and one of the worst. Plus we just kinda talk about theme park stuff at the end like we do sometimes now. So enjoy your extremely delay Christmas present; better late than never! Luke is bad at reading women and puts some money on the line Emma only wants to talk about one thing and tries to start a conspiracy podcast. Talking Points: The Show-Based DCOM Track Record, Mendheads 4 Lyfe, Charlie Do Be Cute Tho, Teddy Isn’t The Oldest?, Why Is She Making Vlogs? The Goon Squad, Zack Snyder’s Good Luck Charlie, The Minutiae of Bringing A Child On A Plane, The Tamest Spring Break Ever, Has This Family Flown Anywhere Before?, Make Children Afraid Of Airports, Zii Would Like To Play, An Objectively Terrible Travel Decision, So Many Ways Around This, Chicken Guy, Loops Left Open, Bus Horror Stories, Locking Up Your Son-In-Law, TERRIBLE CGI, Cellphones Could Basically Solve All Their Problems, An Austin Powers Tangent, Teddy Did Kinda Ruin Christmas, An Ineffective Storm-off, Let Bridget Mendler Sing Good, Cringe Christmas Comedy, A Plowman’s Feast, We Are Required To Discuss The Boys’ Nonsense, Disney Refuses To Show Paintballing, The Movie Just Gives Up, Sexy Daughter Claus, An Unborn Baby’s Eight Picture Deal, We Will Not Stop Talking About Theme Parks, Universal’s Random Neutral Theming, An Eternal Middle Finger To JK Rowling, The Scruddlydunk, Donkey Kong’s Goin’ Bananas, Immersive Fear of Death, It’s Finally Time For The Dark Universe, We Should Actually Be Making Children Afraid Again
