    They are both Paulist seminarians and transitional deacons who are slated to be ordained priests on May 18, 2024.
    Deacon Chris and Deacon Dan both met the Paulist Fathers when they were parishioners at the Church of St. Paul the Apostle in New York City, where the Ordination Mass will be celebrated.

    Sr. Simone is a member of the Sisters of Social Service.
    At the beginning of the episode, Deacon Tom references an early member of the Sisters of Social Service: Blessed Sára Salkaházi, who was martyred in Budapest, Hungary, in 1944.

I am so grateful for the conversations in this podcast, and I learn so much from them. The deacons invite thoughtful guests, and the interviews help me understand better the depths of Christian spirituality and the wonderful diversity of the Catholic faith. Highly recommended!
