Scathing satire, never a dissenting opinion

I listen to this here and there and I enjoy the occasional extreme blunt advise that I think maybe some other advice columns lack. But I think there’s a real problem that there is literally never a real dissenting opinion from a guest. I realized after a while of listening I kept secretly hoping that someone would just offer some very alternative solutions so that there was an element of surprise. I think it is frankly weird that the guests are always in exact agreement on a course of action. That said I’ll continue to listen.

If you really want help…

…don’t ask Dear Prudence. If you are looking to be shamed and judged, Dear Prudence is for you.

Listening to the callow snark of Dear Prudence is excruciating.

LOVE Dear Prudence,

But the latest episode could’ve used a content warning. That was excruciating.
