    Learn how a dream opportunity at Eco Fashion Weekend Singapore put two Tanzanian designers on the global stage Meet Comfort Shangali Kenneth, who left corporate life behind to follow her passion for weaving. Inspired by a six-week course in Germany, she founded Weaving Point—a social enterprise producing traceable, zero-CO₂, 100% cotton handwoven garments while creating opportunities for marginalised youth through skills training and community reinvestment. Tune in to hear how traditional craftsmanship, sustainability, and social impact come together to prove that sustainable fashion can change lives. Also featured in this episode, Julieth Msofe, whose background spans finance and marketing, shares how she transformed Dream Designs from a small thrift store into a thriving atelier in Dar es Salaam. Today, the brand creates both ready-to-wear and bespoke collections designed to celebrate women of all shapes and sizes.
