Didaché is the Greek word for teaching or doctrine. All Christians profess to love Jesus but few seem to have a passion for doctrine and theology. The Didaché podcast is dedicated to teaching sound doctrine and theology for it is by this that our knowledge of God is deepened which, in turn, enables our love for God to be deepened. The Bible says, "And this I pray, that your love would abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment" (Philippians 1:9).
This podcast will discuss doctrine, theology, hermeneutics, and how to apply all of these disciplines so that we can live lives obedient to God's word and for His glory. We will see how, far from being boring, there is nothing more exciting and practical for the Christian than to both know and apply sound doctrine. Most of the programs will simply be straight teaching from Justin but from time to time he will also interview special guests on the program, deal with current theological issues as they arise, and will dedicate some time to answering your questions that you send in. This podcast will not have all of the bells and whistles of some of the others, but what it lacks in sound effects we trust will be made up in content.
Justin Peters is a full-time itinerant preacher dedicated to expository preaching and biblically engaging many of the prevalent false doctrines that seek to "deceive the hearts of the unsuspecting" (Romans 16:17). He has earned both a Master of Divinity (2000) and Master of Theology (2002) from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and has preached in churches and conferences in 43 states and 27 countries. He and his wife, Kathy, live in Bozeman, MT, and are members of Grace Bible Church.

Episode 118: Benny Hinn’s Repentance: The Definitive Update
Back in 2019, Benny Hinn made big news that he had repented of the prosperity gospel. He said he would never again ask people for specific dollar amounts in order to receive a blessing from God. In today’s podcast, we will see whether or not Hinn has kept that promise (Spoiler alert: he hasn’t). I will call out not only Hinn but also his enablers.

Episode 117: Todd White’s Latest Lie: A Confrontation and Direct Personal Appeal
Todd White recently said that he has not told one single lie since he claimed to have been saved 18 years ago. He claims to have reached sinless perfection. But in today’s podcast, we will see that the claim he is making not to have lied is in and of itself a lie. We will further explore what the Bible says about indwelling sin in the believer.

Episode 116: Deliverance From Deliverance Ministries: A Biblical Critique
Deliverance ministries have made a roaring comeback. Self-described “demon slayers” maintain that born-again Christians need to regularly have demons cast out of them. Deliverance ministries, led by figures such as Greg Locke, Alexander Pagani, Isaiah Saldivar, Kathryn Krick, Vlad Savchuck, etc., are entirely predicated on the premise that Christians can be inhabited by demons. In this podcast, Jim Osman, Chris Rosebrough, and I will examine their claims and theology.

Episode 115: Is Bethel a Prosperity Gospel Church?
Bethel Church in Redding, California pastored by Bill Johnson is not often thought of as a prosperity gospel preaching church. But I will play clips from two recent services that should, without a doubt, that it very much is. If you need a miracle, says Bethel, give us your money.

Episode 114: Was the Prophet Jeremiah Unsure He Heard From God?? Responding to the Guys at Remnant Radio
The Remnant radio channel put out a video recently saying that based upon Jeremiah 32:8, Jeremiah was unsure that God had spoken to him until the prophecy actually came to pass. In so doing, they are trying to make the case that it is perfectly fine for today’s charismatics to be unsure if God spoke to them and unsure about what He said. Is this true or are they twisting the Bible to make room for their charismatic theology? We will discuss in today’s podcast.

Episode 113: Inigo Montoya Series: Jesus Could Do No Miracles in Nazareth Because of Unbelief?
Charismatics like to employ Mark 6:5 as proof that Jesus’ ability to perform miracles is limited by our lack of faith. We will examine this text and discover that it does not mean what charismatics think it means.

What a blessing
Thank you Mr. Justin for your faithful adherence to and defense of the word of God. Listening to men like you, Paul washer, John MacArthur, the guys at living Waters podcast, etc. Has helped to strengthen not only my faith but that of my wife and children.I especially liked Santa Pause -I wish more Christians would think about the implications of bringing Santa into their home. Please continue to proclaim the word of truth!
Misconceptions abound
I heard an episode with Mike Gendron, who’s understanding of Catholic theology is about as strong as my understanding of advanced particle physics (I’m not a physicist). He claimed that Catholics believe Mary never died, this is incorrect, there is a long tradition in CatholicIsm that Mary did die. Please do not listen to this misinformed soul. Please learn CatholicIsm from Catholics who actually know. Trent Horn or even Matt Fradd are some great places to start. Gendron is not reliable.
One critique
One of my favorite podcasts. Although I have one critique, to upload more often.
Love you brother, thanks for what you do!
