Differently Abled is a podcast starring Bernie Williams and Lennell Key. Bernie is an Educator and father of a 14 year old daughter. Bernie also just so happen to be wheelchair bound from a spinal cord injury as a child. Lennell Key is the owner and founder of The Legal Assistance Center USA at http://lac-usa.com he is also the proud father of a 12 year old non-verbal autistic son. Together the team is going to discuss everyday struggles and triumphs dealing with their current situations.

She shares her wisdom on raising a disabled child to facing the greater world. This amazing woman also found the time to obtain more degrees than a Fahrenheit thermometer and write numerous books to help other parents and care givers.  We also discuss the little Autistic girl who was unidentified in a Queens, NY police station. Methods and techniques to make sure your child is always identifiable in case of separation.

    In this episode we discuss the stress and pressure that can be caused by the pandemic quarantine and way to alleviate some of that pressure. We mention pandemics of the past and how society coped. We also discuss an episode of House Hunters International on HGTV where a courageous woman doesn't let spina bifida beat or defeat her. Lastly we talk about those nursing home employees in California who didn't show up for work causing dozens of residents to be evacuated.

We mention improper discipline of a child with autism or other disabilities. How to properly socially interact with your child and others in public, and lastly we discuss getting the most resources possible for your child from their school or program.

Lastly we focus on water proof tactical pants for wheelchair users and how they preserve dignity on rainy days.
