Good source of information but room for improvement

This podcast is an awesome source of Disney parks information. They mostly focus on WDW but cover other aspects of the company when something big happens. If you’re someone who likes to keep up with the latest parks news then this could very well be the show for you!

I’ve been listening to the DIS Unplugged for a little over a year and I was shocked to learn how long they’ve been around. Because of that, they have a rather large following and it can be a bit difficult to get into this show as a new listener. There is lots of chit-chatting, inside jokes, and an unnecessary amount of time spent on housekeeping. The Disneyland version of this show is a lot better about keeping these things brief.

But overall, still a good show for Disney Parks lovers. They’re good at balancing their negative reviews with giving praise whenever it is deserved.

Listened to it in the past

Was looking for a new Disney podcast. Saw Disney Unplugged and realized I had not listened to it in months. Then I remembered after one of the last diatribes by one of the hosts realized don't need this in my life and removed it from my library. Decided to listen to a podcast on Gran Destino Tower and remembered the hosts are informative and know their stuff but sometimes just too negative and/or snarky. A good podcast I'm sure many people like it just not for me after awhile

Thank you

First of all I would like to thank the entire crew at the Dis for putting together content on a weekly basis that is fun too listen to and informative when needed.

This podcast has meant so much to me over the last couple years because I commute 45 minutes to and from school in Southeast Louisiana. So many stressful drives to school worrying about tests etc. And listening to this podcast really would put my mind to ease.

I absolutely love the owner Pete, he has a bit of a brash opinion, but it is one I find entertaining and I respect. Recently, I was looking at some of the negative reviews on here, and honestly these people really need to get a life. It is beyond my understanding why people would make such unkind remarks about Someone’s work. Nevertheless, I wish the whole crew many more years of successful content. God bless everybody.

Best,

Mike Sharpe
