    Ep. 9 Intro TOPIC - Gear edition - an examination of Metallica’s amps.  NEWS - LIVE NATION PRICE GOUGHING - A pair of Live Nation employees joked about “gouging” fans with fees and parking costs at concerts, further adding that these concertgoers are “so stupid” and that Live Nation is “robbing them blind, baby,” according to private messages released as court documents as part of Live Nation’s monopoly lawsuit.  The Netflix of metal is out now called Thuderflix.  Elder announce new album coming out in May, their 7th album entitled Through Zero.  Former Misfits Frontman Michale Graves Signs Christian Record Deal, Announces ‘God Bless America Tour 2026’.  Ross the Boss Friedman from Manowar and The Dictators passes away at 72 - rockers are getting old.  Dark Throne have a new album coming out called Pre-Historic Metal with one of the stupidest covers I’ve ever seen - Looks like a Black Metal farmer.  ALBUM REVIEW - At The Gates - Slaughter of the Soul MYSTERY BAND - William’s Pick LIVE SHOWS / TOURS - Pentagram embarking on farewell tour in August.    Coheed and Cambria are touring North America with Shinedown.  Hatebreed are touring this summer with various openers including Devourment and Incantation.  The Pretty Reckless announced a US tour in support of their album Dear God.   Outro

    TOPIC - POLITICS AND METAL - DO THEY GO TOGETHER OR DO PEOPLE JUST WANT THE ESCAPE? Tom Morello called out Kristi Noem for using Nazi language, Drop Kick Murphy’s release a new anti ICE song and new Lamb of God album Into Oblivion about our country right now as examples. System of a Down drummer is MAGA. Recent controversy with Dead Kennedys and Punk in the Park event as that event was recently cancelled. Dogma unable to tour US due to Visa complications, other bands too.  NEWS - Update to the new Vinnie Vincent album - the prices have changed from our first report. Phil Campbell of Motorhead died joining Lemmy in the Rainbow room in the sky. and Controversy with Deicide as former guitarist Eric Hoffman is publicly lashing out at Glen Benton for not paying royalties and merch monies properly. This also happened not too along ago with Cradle of Filth and a number of their members coming after Dani Filth. Ghost are taking a hiatus from touring as Tobias Forge wants to spend time with his family. New Neurosis album “An Undying Love for a Burning World” with Aaron Turner (founder of Hydra Head records and part of the bands SUMAC and Isis) replacing Scott Kelly.     TOPIC - INTERVIEW WITH KING FOWLEY FROM DECEASED NEWS - William Shatner announces new metal album that will include covers of Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest along with originals. Henry Rollins and Zakk Wylde are contributing to it. Tesla have signed with Frontier Records. Iron Maiden’s official documentary “Burning Ambition” is coming out in May. According to recent interviews with Roddy Bottum and Mike Patton it looks like Faith No More is no more. Sebastian Bach has replaced Dee Snider in Twisted Sister for a handful of shows they’ll be playing. Snider was sidelined by some physical ailments he’s dealing with right now.  ALBUM REVIEW - Deceased: Children Of The Morgue MYSTERY BAND - William’s pick LIVE SHOWS / TOURS - Punk in the Park has been canceled due to political conflicts.
