But big movies aren't for everyone, and every massive release has a smaller, quieter alternative dropping the same weekend. The same week Spider-Man: Brand New Day hits theaters, indie and queer cinema icon Gregg Araki releases I Want Your Sex. We hope you can handle the heat of this episode, but once the heat of the summer becomes unbearable and you need an escape, remember this episode and go see some movies. And did the critical and box office failure of The Bride have any awards-season consequences for Jessie Buckley’s legendary run? Let’s break it all down. To start the show, we talk about how Harrison Ford accepted a Lifetime Achievement Award at SAG this year, it got us thinking: some of the most iconic actors in Hollywood history never win an Oscar.
