This is a great an informative Podcast. In the Diane Love case. I believe the host is trying to sway the listener into believing that the one group was more responsible than another group. I don’t think that’s fair to do as a host, because the fact of the matter is that both can be true. The host seems a bit naive and puts a lot of stock into “known and convicted” criminals statements like criminals don’t lie because they say “I didn’t say that”. I’m not saying they did it but we all know criminals lie. There seems to be a lot of rumors within that group and we all know that some truth lies within rumors. I believe there were 2 groups stupidly out shooting that night. We never really hear from the other group because a proper investigation was not conducted. But the group that got accused had some shady things attached to them, From the mom’s statement, to the sister saying she can’t remember if this or that was said to the young man’s confessions to people. I believe he thought he shot someone just based on the fact that he knew he was shooting a gun that night. He may have accidentally shot the victim or maybe the other group did but because both groups were out shooting, and the investigation was lacking who knows. That’s why you don’t go around doing dumb stuff like that because innocent people get hurt. It’s all so sad for the victims family. I like the show, i just feel that the host should try to stay neutral until she has both sides and all the facts, and she has to understand that cops lie all the time to suspects to crack cases thats nothing new, not that it’s right that they do that. But also criminals lie all the time, they confess then they retract their confessions, that doesn’t mean they are not guilty.
