Sherolie ,

I just heard one podcast

...and I'm going to keep listening. She is my kinda gal. Dr. Laura says it likes it is. No excuses, no pampering. We are all human and f up all the time. Get out of the kids life, don't ask about details, just be comfort and support!! Something my mother never did, but I intend to do for my kids!!

Meh

Dr. Laura uses the same incendiary rhetoric that our latest crop of politicians use’s when answering questions.

She is so rude and telling a woman who grew up with an abusive alcoholic that her confidence issues in the workplace and lack of self-confidence are “normal, shut up and she should stop worrying about her past” is just mean. Of course people would rather not let past abuse affect them but Laura seems to get a kick out of putting down those already on the low. Not a fan.

This woman shouldn’t be giving advice. When she doesn’t know what to say or how to help she should point her listeners to professional help.

I would skip this in favor of literally any other podcast and go see a therapist.

Love this Podcast!!!

I am 52 years old and have been listening to Dr. Laura for the past two years. I have read at least three of your books (Proper Care and Feeding of Marriage and of Husbands and Bad Childhood Good Life). I sure wish I knew about you when I was growing up during my adolescence. I really enjoy listening to you Dr. Laura!!!
