    What the Actual Flock?!?!

    Two big things are happening in the world of Monroe. The first is a subversive group of hidden individuals are running a page, Monroe Vote Tracker, pretending to be informative when they're actually just campaigning for Burns, Dotson, and the like. Check out the blog on our website as the podcast only touches the surface of how sneaky these folks are.  Then we jump into Flock Security. A committee meeting on Wednesday that we'd like all to attend, will be discussing the city-wide surveillance system. What they're discussing? We're not sure, but there's only one way to find out!  See you Sunday!

    We're Back!

    We're back as primary season starts to heat up. A candidate forum the other day had one notable absence. We speculate as to why she stayed hidden as we delve into the upcoming election.  Two notable corrections need to be made. Kevin misspelled "cacophany" during the podcast. He was reading off of an "accepted" variance page instead of a dictionary. And the total gold estimated in the world is $29 trillion. Again, trying to look things up quickly leads to mistakes!  Maybe one day we'll prepare better. But where's the fun in that?

From a ridiculous performance staged as a press conference to invoking the death of a podcaster to explain his cowardice, the mayor's theatrics are downright comical! Join us as we talk about that idiot, the focus for '26, and how Change for Monroe is going to start getting to work repairing the damage done by Mayor Whiny Britches!

    We know it's long but it's a damn fine conversation. Join us as we let the brains behind the Radical Roots podcast fill us in on what's happening in Monroe, and the country, through a different lens. List to Parron explain what it's like to have a government official send his klan of followers after you.  We can never be certain why the mayor singled out Parron for his lynch mob dry run, but we have our suspicions. I'm just saying, for a group of people that insist Charlie Kirk wasn't racist, they sure did use the N-word a lot in their threats!     All suggested (HILARIOUS!!!!) titles we wanted for this podcast were shot down by our attorney. If you want to know what we had thought about naming this episode you'll have to come and grab a beer with us.  As the mayor meets with his clan(sp?) downtown this evening, we take a minute to reflect on what a s****y person the mayor is as he uses his platform to send a lynch mob after a local resident. Though there hasn't been word from the city council, we encourage you to email the council (Burns and Dotson are optional), the city manager, and the city lawyer.
