    This episode of Drunk Ex-Pastors comes straight to you from the Caribbean! We start off discussing the war in Iran (or, what little we know about it since it started the day we recorded): Do Americans want this? Do Iranians? Whose interests are being served by this war and by manufacturing consent for it? We talk about wieners for a while, and then spend the remainder of our time on a new segment of "Pastor Jack's Off," mostly being puzzled over what the hell he is attempting to say. But we think it has something to do with Iran and God's judgment but it's hard to tell with him.

    Episode #564 of Drunk Ex-Pastors begins with some banter about Joe Rogan and some Oscar-nominated films, which leads into a discussion about watching our generation slowly get older. We briefly talk about James Franco's apparent un-cancelation, and then address Billie Eilish's recent controversial remarks. We turn our attention to Trump's intentions for both Greenland and Venezuela, and then respond to a content creator's thoughts about becoming too conscious to be able to enjoy simple things anymore.

    We come to you this week from a ship off the coast of Cabo San Lucas! We begin by talking about the cruise, and the Name-That-Eighties-Tune competition in particular (we had some gripes). We talk about evangelicalism and the separation of church and state, expressing some doubts about the validity and practical viability of the whole post-WWII liberal project more broadly (can individualistic religions cohabitate with theocratic ones? Does diversity really work?). We then discuss why it's important for our souls to listen to music on vinyl as opposed to music in its digital and compressed (read: gnostic) form.

Another listener asks about how to deal with pro-Israel evangelical parents, and then we briefly talk about the death of Rob Riener and his wife. We conclude with a couple listeners' biebers involving streaming platforms and tap-to-pay credit card machines.

We give a brief update on the case against Pastor Mike Montgomery, and then spend the remainder of the episode discussing Scott Galloway's new book on the plight of young men in this country: disproportionately suicidal, increasingly isolated and rejected, and less and less likely to start a family.
