Serious Mental Illness: Looking Back & Looking Ahead, Part 2

Join ECHO-Chicago for our podcast series where we share stories and information from our program! This month, we’re revisiting our Serious Mental Illness ECHO series since we just wrapped up our 7th cohort and the large grant-funded project that allowed us to run our first 6 cohorts. It’s been an incredibly popular series and a very needed one, given the dearth of mental health care and psychiatry available, especially in safety-net healthcare settings. We’re excited to share more about the impact of this series and the work and care that went in to its design and delivery. In Serious Mental Illness: Looking Back & Looking Ahead, Part 2 we speak with several of the other amazing individuals who made this series so successful: Dr. Barrett Kern, a clinical psychologist and community advisory board liaison for the series; Karen, a member of our advisory board and our caregiver voice representative for the series; and Dr. Michael Quinn, our lead data and evaluation expert for the project! This project was funded under a cooperative agreement (FAIN: CPIMP171164) from the Office of Minority Health (OMH), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The authors of this document are responsible for its content. The content does not necessarily represent the official views of or imply endorsement by OMH or HHS.  Watch the video or listen to the audio version of this podcast on Apple Podcasts, under “ECHO-Chicago”!
