I learned a lot about what happened in the disaster. It’s scary how the higher ups can cover up such a horrific event. I do wish you had had the time to have a meal with those last two families. I’m a practicing ob/gyn and still had never heard the whole background behind the start of using misoprostol for reproductive health purposes. This should be mandatory learning for any OB care provider. Misoprostol now has many life-saving uses in ObGyn including decreasing bleeding from uterine hemorrhage at the time of vaginal or cesarean delivery, uterine fibroid surgery, and miscarriage. These uses probably would never have been considered without these women first trying it on themselves and collectively tracking results.

You need to take a deep dive into how deprogramming works. There are many cult specialists that can guide you! This cognitive dissonance is exactly the same thing. Great work on this story!
