    Private practice comes with a lot of “rules” we’re told to follow. Most of them are unspoken, but deeply ingrained. Work evenings and weekends because that’s when clients are free. A “real” therapist sees people in person. High fees are unethical.     After taking a summer to reset, I’m back and ready to share what time away taught me about life, work, and self-care.
