Warning: regular listening can improve your mental health.
Once you are on the path and journey of self discovery, there’s no going back. Brad Reedy is a wonderful guide. He is clear, direct, honest, vulnerable. He understands boundaries, how to explain them, and how to implement them. As we grow up in life, it’s important to shift your perspective- to engage with professionals, people, experiences, etc that change and challenge your viewpoint by a few degrees. It’s hard to change and grow- but it’s necessary! This podcast and his books are excellent resources for anyone- parents, young adults, and anyone with (or raising kids with) mental health issues. Let’s face it- we all need to do “the work”.
I’m learning how to be human and it’s helping me feel whole again.
The principles discussed in these podcasts and my practicing of them is healing. I’m a therapist by profession and I am seeing this improve my work in holding my clients emotions more effectively now. I have witnessed great healing in sessions by following the principles explained here. I can only hope this podcast helps its other listeners in the way it’s helped me.
