74: Answering Questions I hear a lot about Meta Ads

Thanks for Listening! Send me your questions-maybe I'll do a special episode for you! This week's episode is another FAQ round, because you all keep asking good questions and I keep collecting them. First up: do you need a Meta Verified account to run ads? Nope.  That's a paid badge subscription, totally separate from actually being able to advertise. What can get required is business verification, which is a different thing Meta triggers on its own, no monthly fee attached.  Second: how many creatives do you actually need?  Forget the old "3 to 5 and you're done" rule, that's not really how it works anymore. For most of us running smaller budgets, 3 to 6 creatives is still the sweet spot. It's not about hitting a magic number, it's about making sure every ad has enough spend behind it to actually get out of the learning phase.  What's new right now.  There's a new manual override called Push Delivery to This Ad, so if you've ever added a fresh creative and it just sat there never spending, that's fixed.   Meta has a track record of rolling something out and pulling it a week later, or rolling it out clunky and fixing it down the line.  Keep an eye on these instead of treating them as set in stone.  Have a question you want answered on the show? 68: Meta did something awesome- do you have this update?

Thanks for Listening! Send me your questions-maybe I'll do a special episode for you! Meta quietly dropped one of the most useful updates for small advertisers in a long time  a one-click CAPI setup. I'm breaking down what it is, why it matters, and exactly what you should do inside Events Manager this week. IN THIS EPISODE - What CAPI (Conversions API) actually is and why it's different from the Meta Pixel- Why browser-based tracking has been getting less reliable (iOS, ad blockers, cookie restrictions) and how much conversion data you might be losing because of it- Why most small advertisers never set up CAPI before  - What Meta announced on April 15, 2026: a one-click CAPI setup inside Events Manager - What the data says: advertisers with CAPI active see an average 17.8% lower cost per result vs. Pixel only- My three-step action plan: check your event coverage score, turn on one-click CAPI if you're eligible, then monitor your event match quality score- Already using GHL or another partner integration? Your existing CAPI setup is not affected  you're good- Want the full walkthrough? 67- More Questions about Facebook ads answered

Thanks for Listening! Send me your questions-maybe I'll do a special episode for you! 3 Facebook Ads FAQs:  Why Ads Tank, Low CTR Fixes, and Boost Posts vs Ads Manager •  why an ad can do well for a week and then “die,” including choosing an objective not optimized for clicks, too-small budgets, audiences that are too small, not enough creative variety for Andromeda, ad fatigue (check frequency), and making changes that force Meta to relearn.  • I cover what a low click-through rate (under 1%) usually means: if CPM and reach aren’t signaling a bad audience, it’s typically the creative and messaging, so  improve the hook, speak to a clear pain point, make the call to action crystal clear, and test new creatives and hooks (cold traffic benchmarks are about 1–2%).  • I clarify boosting posts vs Ads Manager: boosting is fine for reach/engagement but gives Meta control with limited targeting, placements, and tracking; Ads Manager is better for conversions, list growth, webinars, and sales because you can optimize for specific goals, build audiences, and track/retarget with the pixel. 00:00 Welcome and FAQ Setup 00:25 Ad Performance Suddenly Drops 00:51 Why Reach and Clicks Tank 01:48 Fixes Budget Audience Creative 02:49 Creative Fatigue and Edits 03:34 Low CTR Diagnosis 04:34 Improve Hooks and Messaging 05:26 Boost Posts vs Ads Manager 06:09 When Boosting Works 07:15 Why Ads Manager Wins 08:05 Wrap Up and Share Join The GenX Ads Club- for more tips, free resources including an upcoming Live 3 Day Challenge to build your ad with me!
