Been a loyal listener for years, these guys do an excellent job covering pre-draft prep to in-season news to give you a leg up on the competition. Keep up the great work. Question: In a 12 team NL only dynasty 5x5 roto league with 11 pitching spots & $275 budget. Keeping a $25 Mason Miller, $16 Edwin Diaz & $1 Megill so saves & ratios should be off to a good start. Do you think hanging onto Logan Webb ($25) & Sandy Alcantara ($11) can work with an elite reliever heavy build to keep the WHIP monsters in check?

You guys are the best! Question about a pod favorite. Doesn’t Isaac Paredes seem like an obvious “life finds a way” situation? It’s true that it doesn’t seem like he’s in the everyday lineup right now, but the guy’s blocking him at infield and DH all have had issues staying healthy and Christian Walker might just be toast. Even if they do stay healthy, the Astros have to know he’s a better bat than any of their outfielders. I’ve been drafting him on my bench thinking that if things break right for him just a little he could hit 30 home runs. Am I crazy?

Hey guys, big fan of the podcast. This is a Dynasty question, so I won’t get too into the weeds, but the short version is we get to keep 12 guys and up to five players with rookie eligibility. 12 team league, H2H categories, with saves+holds and OBP. I think I’m down to keeping two of the following three with my last two spots (I can keep any of these three with similar late round picks): - Iván Herrera - Yandy Diaz - Cade Smith Yahoo league, so Herrera is eligible at catcher. I’m not looking at keeping any other catcher (although I do have Salvador Perez). Stewart will be one of my five prospect keepers (thanks guys), so he may be an option at first base. And I’m not looking at keeping another relief pitcher. Argument for releasing Kate Smith is its saves plus holds, so I can get more saves and holds at any point in the draft. Argument for releasing Herrera is that, like you guys have said, catcher is super deep, so I’m not sure he would get snatched straight up. Argument for releasing Diaz is similar. Plus, it’s a league that tends to overvalue young players.
