Using hydroponic systems in STEM teaching at home - Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics are disciplines essential for developing critical thinking skills that will open many developmental opportunities for our youth. Incorporating hydroponic systems as a special project, demonstration, or just for basic gardening can provide opportunities for children to get hands-on experiences that can broaden their horizons when exploring careers in agriculture and science, chemistry, and other fields. It can also provide a chance for a fun team-building experience for parents and kids to bond and find common ground.
