All-In with Chamath, Jason, Sacks & Friedberg

There was a time that this was my favorite podcast, but not anymore. When it was 4 diverse opinions shared by 4 successful people who engaged in civil discourse, I loved it. I wish it would return to the format which made it successful. Instead, there is rarely an episode where all 4 besties participate, and the time spent doing interviews is a multiple of the time spent discussing current events and topics. Stop with the “extra” episodes. I signed up for an hour a week of discussion, not several episodes a week of interview format. I am sure there is an audience for the interviews. But it should be a spin-off podcast under a different name and feed. I am confident you would get many All-In subscribers to also subscribe to the spin-off. But if you continue to fill my feed with content and format I am not interested in, I will probably reconsider if I should continue to follow this podcast.

Im a moderate and a licensed therapist and really enjoyed the early years of this podcast, but when they start hosting people like Tucker and love how chummy he is, you can see how poor their lack of discernment is. They lack having an accurate theory of mind for some of their narcissistic or sociopathic guests - often being in awe of their charisma instead of realizing how it’s a primary trait used for manipulation. When you lack an accurate theory of mind it opens the door to ‘convincing’ ideas that we ‘pushed’ Russian to invade Ukraine vs a sociopath who has always wanted to reclaim the lost territory for Russia. Their political views are overly simple compared to real experts on the subject. I hope they can turn it around. They are brilliant in their areas of expertise and really fun.

I feel sorry for anyone who thinks they’re getting good info / analysis here. Go read a book or a newspaper instead. If you’re a conservative, the Wall Street Journal is a good start.
