I don’t know why people don’t understand if something doesn’t cost them anything then someone else is paying for it. I don’t like the ads, but I don’t want to pay a subscription fee either.
Why so quiet?

I do understand the ad intro to the songs, but I will say that the benefit to hearing the song without the ad, could be a sale of the song or entire album. I find I am happier if I can listen to a playlist of songs and then buy songs from bands, musicians, singers I like, and I buy them on ITunes. The artists benefit more from me getting to hear a song without the ad, as with the ad I tend not to listen to the song, or the ad. I do buy music, I do buy most of it from ITunes. I have already unsubscribed to this podcast as I can hear the ad, and the song, by simply going to the store page for the radio station and not having ad laden songs in my library. Maybe I am the exception here, I don't know. I do know I do not need to subscribe to a music podcast with an ad beginning.
