Ep051 - From Under The Cork Tree by Fall Out Boy
Let's talk about this monster of a record, ok? Fall Out Boy went multi-platinum with their 2005 sophomore effort, and we have lots of opinions. It might be the first time a song has been nominated for Nobody's Perfect by one host, and Desert Island Song by another.

Ep050 - Futures by Jimmy Eat World
It's our 2 year anniversary! And our 50th episode! We celebrate by talking about one of our favorites, Futures by Jimmy Eat World. Gushing ensues. Blake gets mad at online articles referencing harmonizing guitars when they're actually octaves. Kris has opinions about Night Drive. Kyle somehow brings up Hinder. It's a long one, so buckle in!

Ep049 - Killing Time by Bayside
Did Bayside not get enough love in the 2000s? We think that might be the case. On this episode we talk about their 2011 album.

Ep048 - We Don't Need To Whisper by Angels & Airwaves
Was there any way for the debut Angles & Airwaves album to live up to the absolutely astronomical (see what we did there?) expectations set by Tom DeLonge? The answer is a resounding "no", but we still like the album.

Ep047 - Brand New Eyes by Paramore
This marks our 2nd episode spent gushing over the talents of Hayley Williams and co. Don't say we didn't warn you.

Ep046 - All Killer No Filler by Sum 41
We'd honestly forgotten about this record, which is a shame because it holds up much better than a lot of the other pop-punk released around the same time. We miiiiiight have issues with the opening and closing tracks, though. Maybe.

My mom should've had an abortion
Love the podcast! As a still emo kid(class of 09) I love hearing you guys talk about the albums I still blast! The sum 41 line the doctor said should’ve had an abortion got my a whole lot of trouble with my strict Christian parents back in the day! No regerts. Anyways keep it up and thanks for what you do!!
Name change
Five stars, discovered this podcast late but found myself binge listening daily while working and even after work. The name is off. Maybe FINDING POP-PUNK in EMO. just a thought.
I have discovered bands I’ve not heard being of an older genX 70’s -80’s punk- new wave world. I checked out in the 90’s thanks to grunge but found love in pop punk and even emo sounds ( blink, Paramore, MCR so on. Thx guys for the good non political entertainment and even education.
Great podcast
This is one of the most enjoyable track by track album review podcasts available. The guys clearly have a lot of knowledge about the music industry and the scene itself from being in it, but the discussions are always accessible enough that even casual music fans can enjoy.
