    05: Conformity and Freedom: Breaking free from societal expectations and walking your true path

    For episode 5, I honestly wasn’t sure at first what I wanted to talk about. Then this thought about societal expectations just popped into my head. I didn’t have the exact topic figured out right away, but eventually I did. Conformity being something I’ve never really agreed with, and a topic that’s super close to my heart. That’s why I decided to go with Conformity and Freedom. This episode feels really special to me because of how much this topic means.     03: Being the main character in your life; How putting yourself first doesn’t make you a bad person

    Note: Hey ladies. So Around the 13 minute mark I made a mistake by saying “main characters do not lead, they follow” but it should have been “main characters do not follow, they lead”. By my explanation I’m sure you guys would understand what I actually meant. Just wanted to clear that up before we get started. Many people have been conditioned to put everyone else’s needs before theirs whether because of the need to people please or it’s an unconscious act. But constantly putting yourself last can leave you drained, resentful, and disconnected from who you really are. In this episode, we’re talking about what it truly means to put yourself first and why putting yourself first doesn’t equate being selfish rather it is an act of self-respect. I’ll share simple mindset shifts that can help you release the guilt around choosing yourself. We’ll explore how prioritizing your needs can help you show up more fully. Because when you’re aligned, energized, and grounded, everyone benefits. Not just you. Also, If you’ve ever struggled with saying “no,” felt pressured to people-please, or wondered how to find balance without burning out, this episode will give you both the encouragement and the tools to start putting yourself first without apology because saying “no” and putting yourself first doesn’t make you a bad person.

Starting doesn’t require you to feel completely ready, because the truth remains that confidence grows through experience, not just knowledge. Knowledge is essential, of course, but it becomes even more powerful when you put it into action. The more you use what you already know, the more you’ll learn along the way. That’s why starting, even imperfectly, matters so much. By the end of this episode, we’ll do a short exercise together to put this into practice. When we’re stuck in old mindsets or afraid to take the first step, we make the journey harder than it really is.
