Paradigm shifting - thank you

Whatever your workout regimen - dr Shannon teaches concepts that I wish I’d understood years ago. Start with episode 21 - it’s an amazing podcast with so much education

Life changing!

I have always loved high intensity training and was very skeptical when I came across EVLO and this podcast. I was hesitant to jump into the program but after having a bad case of tendinitis in my knee I came across Dr. Shannon’s instagram page and eventually this podcast and dove into the episodes! I love how Dr. Shannon and her guests get so scientific about what’s actually happening in our bodies and what our bodies need to gain muscle! So many workout programs have users going through the motions and not seeing results. I feel a new spark for fitness after listening to all of these podcasts and am so excited for my EVLO workouts each day. They still are challenging without being so hard on my body. I am starting to get better with the mind-muscle connection and can feel muscles firing so much better than I ever have before!

I’d be curious to learn more about calories and how many calories women typically need? I’ve read that we typically need more than society leads us to believe, at least 2,000+ for an active woman to maintain their weight? I find that I need way more than I previously thought but would love an episode talking more about this with a nutrition expert!

So informative!!!

I recently found this podcast and seriously can’t get enough!! It’s quickly become a go-to resource for me. I really appreciate the educational approach Dr. Shannon takes on the topics she covers she is very transparent and everything is heavily researched. I’ve learned so much about the importance of resistance training and women building muscle in their 30’s. I wish I would have found her earlier and been more informed on the benefits of strength training, instead of just being influenced by all the health/fitness claims and marketing that’s out there. She is a breath of fresh air!! She’s an awesome example and someone to look to for credible, educational information. Thanks for the amazing episodes Shannon!!
