Customer Reviews
A long time coming
Hey Andrea.
I found your podcast over a year ago and binge listened to it every chance I got. When I got caught up I felt just a little lost, like finishing a really good fiction book series. But I quickly realized that I always look forward to the next episode in anticipation, like my favorite tv show or something. I don't have kids of my own, but the information and the way you teach is done in such a way that I learn about all sorts of things that can and could affect my body but I also don't feel penalized for my decision to stay kid free. The way you're willing to make fun of yourself recording in your closet, and always asking your guests to teach us all, not just teaching "your listeners" allows me to feel included. I also really really really appreciated that you don't interrupt the middle of your podcasts with product commercials but instead present them quickly at the beginning of your shows. You rock. I wish I still lived in Arizona so I could meet you in person, maybe one day.
And you tell us this every week, but I want you to know... You are ALSO doing so much better than you think you are!
-From your listener who has been meaning to write a review for a year or more.
P.S I would love to hear what you or some guests know about benefits and differences between full body ice baths (facial ice baths) vs topical ointments like Icy Hot/Tiger balm.
Love! So educational:)
You’re amazing !! You are extremely articulate and make it easy for even the novice to the fitness world to understand. I’ve learned so much and am so thankful to have found this podcast. I typically find an episode I’m interested to learn more about and listen to it On my way to and back from work. Although I am not my mom, I can still learn a lot about wellness and love that she puts in lots of information in a holistic way that includes mindset, the body, hormones, fitness , advice for traveling and dealing with injuries etc. I honestly think that I will listen to the same episodes time and time again to refresh myself of all this good knowledge on here. Highly recommend!!
Breath of fresh air
I just discovered this podcast and have only listened to 6 or 7 episodes so far but I love them! I am a 40 year old mom of 3, former runner, have been doing battle with my broken body after having my humongous twins 5 years ago. I am also ferociously anti-diet, eating disorder aware, and try to consume as much body neutral/body positive information as I can. SO, it is challenging to navigate my desires for better fitness and nutrition with allll the “cut out this food and make your hideous body smaller” messaging out there. This podcast has come as a pleasant surprise—I leave each episode feeling a bit more empowered to help myself get stronger and more fit in a realistic way. It’s like a conversation with a friend.
