When Jesus Shows Up — John 21:1-14

There’s a miraculous difference once Jesus shows up. Today, we’re looking at the first section of John 21 to see the story where the disciples spent all night fishing but didn’t catch anything. But when Jesus shows up and tells them to cast their net on the other side of the boat, they caught so many they couldn’t even lift the net. So in this Bible study, we’ll see what exactly happens here, what we can learn from this story, and at the  end, I’ll give you 5 practical takeaways from this passage. When the Disciples Saw the Lord — John 20:19-31

As Christians, we look at the Bible, and we have faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. We believe that it really happened. But in real time, the disciples didn’t always realize that Jesus would rise. Partially due to ignorance and partially due to unbelief, they thought He was just dead, never to return again. But here in John 20, we’re going to see 2 post-resurrection appearances of Jesus. And I’m going to give you 5 practical takeaways from this passage.
