Jesus: The Resurrection and the Life — John 11:1-27

Have you ever wondered why God allowed something bad to happen? Well, in today’s Bible study, we’ll see some people who were in that position. Because Mary and Martha’s brother Lazarus was sick, and eventually he died. And even though it was a heartbreaking situation, Jesus had a purpose, and he did something even more miraculous than healing the sick: raising the dead. So in this Bible study, we’ll see 3 things to notice, and at the end, I’ll give you 5 practical takeaways. Does John 20:23 Teach Confession to a Priest? My Response to JesusandWhatnot

Does John 20:23 teach confession to a priest? The Catholic apologist JesusandWhatnot recently put out this question to Protestants. And I think this is an important question that can be difficult to answer. So in this video, we’ll consider what the Catholic Church teaches about the sacrament of confession, what Jesus said, and how to properly understand this verse. Jesus: The Door and the Good Shepherd — John 10:1-21

Throughout the Gospel of John, Jesus gave 7 I am statements—7 metaphors that described His identity. And we see 2 of these statements in John—I am the door, and I am the good shepherd. So today, as we continue our verse-by-verse study through the Gospel of John, we’ll see what Jesus meant by that and how people responded. And then at the end, I’ll give you 5 practical takeaways from this passage. Opened Eyes and Hardened Hearts — John 9:18-41

When Jesus showed up, the blind received sight, while the seeing closed their eyes. In today’s Bible study, we’re looking at John 9, where Jesus gave sight to a blind man. And this story really shows us how everybody has a different response to Jesus. Because some rejected Him, some ignored Him, but one man in particular believed in Him and worshipped Him. So we’ll see five things to notice in this story, and at the end, I’ll give you some practical takeaways.
