    Processing through the Process

    On this episode, DP opens up with some gratitude. It's important that we take the time to appreciate our experiences and where God has placed us. How many times do we question the process that were going through because of how tough it is? How many times do we question where we are because it's not where WE expected we would be? Let God lead you! Were gonna talk a little bit about how to handle the process and what are some ways that we can help ourselves when were in the midst of a transition.

We discuss his weekend and some of the strategies he uses to get himself out of a slump.  When faced with a dispute or disagreement, are you listening to respond or are you listening from a place of compassion?  How often are you considerate when someone is expressing themselves to you emotionally?

    REPUTATION

    Believe it or not, our reputation means a lot! Many of us will say that it doesn't matter what people think about us, but realistically, we would like people to perceive us more positively than negatively.  Our reputation can vary amongst different aspects of our lives as well. Have you given much thought about what your reputation is ampngst your loved ones??

    BLACK MEN'S MENTAL HEALTH W/ MALIK ZAIRE

    IT'S MEN'S MENTAL HEALTH MONTH!! In light of what this month represents, it was only right to give you an episode discussing mental health. Malik joined me in this conversation and provided his perspective on mental health and how it's discussed in our communities. When I first interviewed Malik last year, our conversation focused primarily on being a student athlete and adversity that came with it. This episode gives us a different aspect of Malik while we discuss faith, self care and sports.  Take care of yourself! Here are some self care ideas; - Working out.  - Daily meditation. - Taking yourself out to eat or for a drink.  - Napping.  - Going to get a haircut.  Ain't nothing wrong with therapy!     On Episode 2 of Full Transparency Pam joins me as my first guest on the show. Together we talk about some different practices we can do to improve our communication. We discuss the importance of expressing ourselves to our loved ones regardless of what their response may be.  Our deepest condolences go out to those who's lives were impacted by the events that took place on May 24, 2022 in Uvalde, Texas.

    We did it! Got the first episode locked and loaded. It was a learning experience indeed. In this episode I will introduce myself to you all and give you some insight on how all of this came to be. It was a long time coming! But, we know everything happens for a reason.
