Having been described by the press as “occasionally hard-to-follow,” “as chaotic as they are iconic,” and “going through it,” the band MUNA started this podcast with the hope of providing not only more income, but also rare insight into the behavior of queers outside of the month of June.
Join the band and their special guests as they gab about our personal lives, music, what they like to eat, the TV they watch, intergenerational trauma, and of course their search for answers in the case of a missing girl. Tune in for new episodes every Wednesday.

Our Psychiatrist
TikTok benders, ADHD testing, the Glendale f*cking Galleria - this episode really does have it all. Join Katie, Jo, and Naomi as they sit down for an intimate, guestless hang in the studio to tell you about their one singular psychiatrist and how to see God everywhere, even on TV. (That last part is really good advice, actually.)

Washing My Sofa with Clea Duvall
It's fricken Clea Duvall y'all! You know her from every movie you ever loved growing up (Can't Hardly Wait, The Faculty, She's All That) and, of course, as one of the stars of the Silk-Chiffon-music-video-origin-story, But I'm A Cheerleader. Naomi, Jo, Katie, and Clea bond over a shared love of escape rooms (who knew?), staying at home instead of going out (who can relate?), and BIAC's official star on the queer canon walk of fame. And don't you dare forget to check out Clea's latest project, High School, co-created by friends-of-the-pod Tegan & Sara!
Psst... stick around for a sneaky little treat at the end of the episode.....

hey you. read this if you want to hear a gay story and how much i love you.
yes i made this account to listen to gayotic and also write a review bc i love you and look forward to new episodes every month. being newly out and finding this podcast was probably the best thing that could have happened to me. i’m 19 and came out in april and it was so terrifying and having very few queer people and spaces around me has been hard but remedied with gayotic. so many of the queer experiences i had growing up felt so wrong and i had a lot of repressed memories that i’ve discovered while listening to you share your own experiences. i relate a lot to katie’s stories and hearing you guys talk about comphet was seriously revolutionary for me. as a newer fan and a newer lesbian this representation is what i have been searching for my whole life. muna and boygenius were my gay summer soundtrack so thank you for being your own sexy selves and also making absolute bangers. now for that gay story i promised. the first time i ever though about girls was when i was 9 or 10 and i saw a show on my family shared netflix account. i knew i couldn’t watch it without getting in trouble so i would login to my cousins account (who was also 10) to beat the system. i would then proceed to watch all 7 seasons of orange is the new black and she would go on to be grounded for weeks at a time. i had to do what i had to do. please never stop this podcast. it brings me so much joy and comfort to know i’m not alone in the queer coming of age journey. i love you all - laci 🩷
