Getting Back to the Root of Friendship and Wellness with Taylor Zappulla IHP 1&2

Let's Be Honest with Daria Cooper Podcast

In this conversation, my childhood friend and former gymnastics teammate, Taylor and I discuss  her journey as an integrative health practitioner and physical therapist assistant. We reflect on our friendship and the different phases of life we have experienced together.

Taylor shares her personal experiences with injuries and how they led her to pursue a career in physical therapy. She also discusses her own health struggles and how they inspired her to start her own business, Better at the Roots, focusing on integrative nutrition, whole body wellness and hormonal health. We emphasize the importance of taking a holistic approach to health and wellness, considering the body as a whole and addressing underlying issues rather than just treating symptoms. We also reflect on the importance of listening to your body and making choices that support your well-being.

Taylor also discuss her own approach to working with clients, emphasizing the importance of starting with foundational changes and working towards personalized protocols. She highlights the need for education and awareness around women's health and hormones, and expresses her desire to teach younger women about these topics. I conclude by inviting listeners to attend the upcoming event, 'Spill the Tea,' where myself and Taylor will be sharing more information on women's health and wellness.
