    141. Cycle Synching: The Ultimate Productivity Hack [with Renae Fieck]

Have you ever found yourself time blocking, habit stacking, following all the latest advice on how to be successful- and yet, you’re not getting the results you want and you’re wondering why? Well, there’s a reason for that… and in this episode, we’re going to discuss exactly what that is and why this old, traditional method just simply doesn’t work. In fact, today’s Friday’s with Friends guest Renae Fieck, walks us through how most advice for success was developed by men for men- and how our bodies (and hormones) differ, making it impossible to just ‘show up’ the same way every day. Together we explore the power of our cycles, how leaning into it can be the ultimate productivity hack, and how when we honor the phases of our body, we can develop more self-compassion, love and understanding. This episode is packed with wisdom, tips for implementing changes right away, and moments that make you feel like you maybe aren’t as alone as you thought in the struggle to get ahead. Let’s dive in, shall we? _____________________ Here’s A Little About Renae + Her Journey: Renae Fieck is a mom of 3 and feminine leadership coach, cycle-syncing expert, and business strategist helping high-achieving women scale their businesses without burnout or overworking. 140. The Messy Middle Of Identity Growth

Have you ever been in that messy middle space between who you used to be and who you are becoming- and found yourself struggling immensely? Maybe you’re still clinging to parts of your old identity, or perhaps you’re feeling uncertain and scared about what comes next. Whatever it might be- know that you’re not alone and I’m right there in the thick of it with you. Over the last few weeks I have been on a major struggle bus- not because life is hard, but actually because of the opposite. Right now, life is more wonderful and grand than it has been in years… and yet, part of me is craving the chaos and pain of what my nervous system has been accustomed to for years. Where I’m at feels ‘wrong’ right now, and I’m dancing between feeling like I am not enough or that I am too much in all that I am, and all that I am doing. Now normally… my trauma reaction would be to run. Run away from responsibilities, away from work, away from my life. But today, I’m choosing to respond differently and sit in the uncomfy feelings instead. Why? Well because I know that this is all temporary and that my ego is just trying to keep me safe. So let’s talk about exactly what I’m doing to combat this, and how I’m stretching my capacity for change. Let’s dive in, shall we? __________________________ Episodes + Articles Mentioned 122. 139. The Hidden Realities Of Caregiver Burnout [with Miriam Ber]

What happens when something unexpected and traumatic happens in life, and somebody you love is no longer able to care for themselves? What happens when you are forced into a position of a caregiver- with the expectation that you must give up your life for another? What happens when those circumstances become so extreme that you just simply cannot do it anymore? Well, there's a reason that this conversation is one that a lot of people want to avoid. Whether we are talking about aging parents, a tragic accident, or complications in birth- there is an unspoken rule in our society that we must take care of others no matter what. But today's Friday's with Friends guest? She sees it differently- and in this episode she is sharing with us her journey of placing her son into a home because she could no longer care for him safely or effectively. Together we discuss navigating the judgements of others, the impact that caregiving can have upon all aspects of your life, and how there is zero shame in letting go for the betterment of all involved. This episode is raw, direct and covers viewpoints that many may not be willing to understand or accept. Listener discretion is advised. Let’s go ahead and dive in, shall we? _____________________ Here’s A Little About Miriam + Her Journey: Miriam Rachel Ber is a writer, social media strategist, and tarot practitioner whose work centers on identity, boundaries, healing, and honest self-inquiry. Imagine being out with friends for a weekend away, having laughs and sharing smores- when suddenly, just a few hours later, you witness a horrific death that stays with you for years to come. 136. Get Out Of The River Of Hell

Have you ever experienced a moment in life where everything seems to be going wrong, maybe it feels like you can’t catch a break, and you just so happen to be feeling sorry for yourself because of it all? Well, if you have, don’t worry. You’re not alone. In fact, just a couple of weeks ago I was in this exact same spot- deep in victimhood and wondering why my entire world was crashing down around me. At the time, I was in pajamas I’d worn for three days, feeling irritable and crying non-stop… and it felt like nothing could ‘shift’ me out of it. But in that moment- something beautiful and unexpected happened. I ended up randomly drawing a picture that created a radical perspective shift on what I was unconsciously ‘choosing’ for my life by wallowing in my current state- and the best part is? It also came with an understanding of what I could do to instantly alter how I was feeling so that I could get ahead. This metaphor is exactly what I’m walking you through today, and if you have ever been (or currently are) inside of a moment like this- this episode is for you.
