I very much enjoy listening to these podcasts! I’m always thankful for how open and vulnerable her guests seem to be when sharing some of their most challenging times in their life. Very helpful to hear the takeaways that can be used after each podcast....actionable and relevant! Keep up the good work!!

Handle with Care

Because every story is unique, the isolation of suffering is inescapable, and yet there are common themes within struggle and loss which offer strong links of comfort and hope.
It is essential for the workplace to have more tools to help come alongside those with deep and complex personal challenges. I see so much value in these discussions and narratives that Liesel artfully navigates. There is much wisdom in the podcasts I have heard. Thank you, Liesel, for your important work here!

My wife has cancer

The interview when his wife had cancer was powerful. I love how he shared that he was able to identify what he needed so that others can help. I feel like this could empower others who are struggling because we think “I don’t want to be a burden” but in all reality those around want so badly to help if only we knew how. Maybe it’s why we say and do careless things. I appreciated the idea of one point of contact to organize help. I will now keep extra Starbucks cards on hand.
