An HP Destruction

We all know that JKR has expressed some repugnant and harmful views in the past few years, but this podcast uses those views as an excuse to systematically dismantle the beautiful Harry Potter universe, page by page, with a revisionist lens that is no more appropriate than applying modern day moral standards to a centuries old culture. The hosts do not limit themselves to criticism of the transphobia , but find offense with nearly every character portrayal in some way. Kim’s book on Snape was mostly legitimately insightful, but she and her co-host border on extremism to nearly the same degree as JKR with this podcast.
