High Gravity is a show where we talk about beer, brewing, and b******t! Our primary goal is to talk about Michigan goings on in the beer world and local happenings around our beautiful state. Our aim is to present this information in a fun and not too serious way so that everyone from new brewers and beer drinkers to the most seasoned and experienced enthusiasts can enjoy the show! The more we drink during the show, the more comes out and the more fun we have so language CAN get a bit colorful at times though we do our best to keep it in check, most of the time!!     Episode 125: 22 Second Skip

    Episode 125: 22 Second Skip Not exactly sure what happened with this one, to Darrells delight, there were issues getting one of todays samples to open so we ended up skipping a whole bottle of wonderful (per Johnnys stance anyhow...) cherry wine. We did manage to recover with an absolutely FANTASTIC selection from a local maker followed by the lone beer the guys had in todays episode. Johnny did manage to get some of the "bonus" wine into a glass to sample along with TONS of cork bits though no one else wanted to try it with him... Topics this episode were a bit all over the place though they did discuss some of the upcoming trip the guys have planned to Darklord Day down at the 3 Floyd's brewery! Then move into some discussion of impulse buys, the Olympics, the wonderful actors "The Rock" and Nicolas Cage, and a lot of other fairly random stuff. It's still fun as always, just a bit out of some of our normal conversation channels, being that is in all fairness half the show though I guess it in a way still is normal... Anyways, at least give it a listen for a few minutes to help the metrics, hit subscribe and/or follow share, like, comment and all the good stuff and enjoy the show!     Episode 124: Hey Zach we got your mom drunk Not sorry for it either man, it was A LOT of fun haha. The guys are joined this week by a special guest, that kept another guest on edge the entire time! We were joined my Mr. Jeff's wife (and Zach from the titles mom...) Anne!! She brought with her an INSANELY good collection of Schramm's mead and each one seemed to get better than the one before. Everything was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC and it was hard to choose a single favorite amongst them all. While the stories didn't get TOO wild, we did manage to still get a single story about Jeff, I mean Jipper and it wasn't TOO bad THIS TIME... Just means we are going to have to try and get her back again another time!! MOST of the conversation otherwise this episode is on topic and though is mead over beer, still very good conversation and even better beverages! So sit back with your favorite beverage and enjoy!!     Episode 123: Episode 123 HA! That seemed like a funny title when I was editing so I rolled with it... ANYWAYS, we start our sort of salute to Valentines days with Johnny's sad and depressing plans for the night then get into a PHENOMENAL selection of beers we have for this week.     Episode 121: His Name Jeff The guys are joined by Mr. Jeff (aka duffman) once again with some ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC beers on the show today!     Episode 120: Reach for the Starrs Well, it happened again, the guys were out of beer so they did a whole episode about Starr Craft brews, including a couple of new beers not yet available! There is a decent amount of BS and general conversation/beer conversation in this episode but all of todays beer (except the two...) are available RIGHT NOW at Starr Craft Brewery in Richmond Mi! Part way through they are rejoined by Mr. Matt after his return from a dog food sale. The guys get into stuff about quality of domestic vs foreign food ingredients, bitcoin mining, Iceland and to be honest, I was working on taxes in between editing  and doing notes so kinda forgot to add some notes but enjoy the beer talks, ramblings of the guys with your favorite beverage!     Episode 118: Whistle Pig The guys start this episode off with some fantastic bourbon and then a discussion about sparkling water... Don't worry, they get back to beer though after that! Stayed tuned for this whole episode too, there is a special music commercial before the show ends!! We get into a bit about bottle and equipment cleaning, Johnny attempts to tell a joke, we talk about chilling wort while making beer, brewing systems, and a bunch of other stuff... Not going to lie, quite tired so you're getting cliff notes for this weeks description. Conversation got weird enough JOHNNY had to bring it back to beer at one point while talking about a past party at Jims house; among other misc stuff, the guys talk about some new shows they want to watch, a new cartoon that's coming out, there's other stuff but think I'm done typing for now... OH and enjoy the song in this one! DEFINITELY a longer commercial break than normal but it's awesome!
