87 - Food and Toxins: Break Free from the Fear
In this episode I talk about the fear of food and toxins that many people have in the health and wellness space. I dive into why fear has no place in holistic health and wellness, and how it can actually make you sicker and more stressed. I share some tips on how to overcome the fear of food and toxins, and how to make the best choices for your health and budget. Encourages you to listen to your body and see how different foods affect you, rather than following the fear mongering of others. Some of the key takeaways are:
- Fear of food and toxins can stem from removing certain foods or food groups to heal your body, or from being exposed to too much information and misinformation about the dangers of certain foods or substances.

In this episode, I interview Danae, a yoga instructor and a caregiver for her father who has been diagnosed with three different cancers. We talk about the challenges and joys of caregiving, the importance of self-care, and the lessons we have learned from their experiences. Danae shares how she balances her life while caring for her father, how she copes with grief and guilt, and how she uses laughter, yoga, and podcasts to stay healthy and happy. She also gives some advice and encouragement for anyone who is new to caregiving or struggling with it.
