    In Living Color - Yikes.

Today we're coming to our desks without makeup (terrifying, we know) and going step by step through our makeup bags unpacking our favs and trying to put mascara in with a mic in our way.  It's a hoot and extra special for the Patreon crowd.

This podcast speaks to me

I love these ladies. They’re so funny. I love the chit chat, the random bits of wisdom, the tidbits of homesteading & gardening. It’s awesome! It’s nice to finally hear a podcast with two women who are rocking the stay at home work at home lifestyle. Love it!

I want to love it.

I really want to love this podcast, as I deeply enjoy and support both creators. However, I find myself increasingly disappointed because podcast hour is mostly ads. I have zero problem with creators getting ad revenue and sponsors!! I do have a problem with an hour long podcast consisting of what feels like about 25% actual podcast and 75% ads. It really takes away from the content, and frankly? Makes it way less likely for me to support the podcast. It really makes me sad, because again, I believe this content could be incredible if it weren’t cheapened and thread bare. I wish these women continued success and growth and I hope they continue to share more seasons.

Done.

Sadly, after the last couple episodes I’m unfollowing. What used to be an inspirational podcast for me has me now feeling like half the show is just ads and constant references to their patreon members. I signed up to listen to a podcast, not pay money I don’t have to watch a podcast. Also, I can’t handle the complaining about masking and how much it ruins their “fun”. Seems a little inconsiderate to all the people out there who have to wear masks to make a living and not just to pick out a new shade of red lipstick. And for as much as these two talk about being Christians the amount of time they spend judging other people is rather hypocritical.
