This is great information for the Maple Syrup enthusiast. We are in our second year of forming the TruNorth Maple company and it’s great listening to the content to 1)confirm what we are doing and 2) learn something new. Richard and Rachel are great. Segments are usually only around 10 minutes. Just enough. More content please!! Scott T TruNorth Maple Co.
I’d give Richard 10 stars if I could!

Richard’s podcasts are short and practical, organized by subject so you don’t waste time on topics that don’t pertain to you. As important he’s precise in his explanations and MORE important, he brings the joy of the process to life. (Ie, it’s not just about the mechanics of syrup making; the podcast brings the subject to life with his very able co-host and sidekick!)
New ways to improve your processing

Richard brought up the idea of using membrane separation to concentrate sap instead of boiling it. It’s a great all-electric method to cut on time, waste, heat and emissions resulted from vaporizing large volumes. Thanks for sharing!
