The only and first podcast I listen to

I am just a recent fan of the show Gilmore Girls and watched it only in the year 2020 on Netflix.
It was the pandemic year and just had the need to watch anything wholesome, has great content and really funny and this show came to my mind as I did not get to watch it at their original release as I was a fan of the Friends TV show. Thanks to Netflix!

The Palladino’s the writers of Gilmore Girls and the great cast just sums up a wonderful endearing show and I did wonder why it did not win an emmy that time. Who needs the award if at this point, the show is gaining more audience of all generations that makes it an iconic TV show too.

Scott Patterson I feel is the right person to host this podcast. You sense he is truly passionate and has genuine love for all the characters and the show itself. The stars were aligned when Scott and Lauren took the part of Luke and Lorelai and the same for Alexis for Rory.
The chemistry that Scott.Lauren and Luke.Lorelai have with their scenes is amazing.

Scott admires Lauren so much as an actress and as a person and so did Lauren admire Scott as mentioned in her book talking as fast as I can.

And this is why it had amazing acting results for them making them a true iconic TV couple.

Scott is the worst

I wanted to love this podcast. But I cannot with Scott. The only good thing about this is that it mentions the Gilmore Guys podcast, which is thee best. I’ve listened to that one a few times over and they have a much more nuanced perspective. Sad to find out how much of a misogynist Patterson is but it is what it is. Gilmore Guys for life!!!

Stop using word bipolar

Scott - please stop using the word bipolar in the way you have in the last few episodes. It’s a serious illness that is sadly stigmatized and misunderstood. Throwing around the word and using it incorrectly is dangerous. I’m sure many of your listeners live with the disease. Describing an episode as “bipolar” because it’s “all over the place” is not ok. That’s not bipolar. Describing Jess as acting “bipolar” is also inaccurate because he does not have that illness. But, if he did, it would also be ok and important to talk about. Please please take this note. Maybe do some research on bipolar disorder. It is a disease of severe depression with some episodes of mania or psychosis. It’s manageable and people with bipolar disorder are not just “all over the place”

Also - while the podcast is getting much better but could you please spend time doing research before each episode? It’s frustrating when you don’t seem to know basic information. Could you tell us who wrote and directed each episode? And maybe start with some facts about the episode. Things all “rewatch” podcasters should know ahead of time: 1. Guest actors names 2. Where things were filmed 3. Why episodes have their titles. For example, “Haunted Leg” is one of Lorelai’s lines in that episode, yet none of the hosts had any idea where the title came from. Also - Danielle is amazing. Loved when she did pop culture for Bracebridge Dinner. Can she do more?
